A colourful mix of gypsy style moves and steps put into context with the new and upbeat gypsy-fusion music. The workshop will also introduce tribal and oriental dancers to the basic technique and grounding of gypsy fusion dance including skirt work, spins/turns, improv-flow and working with dramatic expressions and personal interpretation. As always with the Gypsy Dance you will find your inner dragon and leave with a big smile! The big skirt will be necessary for this WS, preferably a double circle skirt.

A workshop for those who like to use the essence and secret of Tribal Style Dance for their own duo or group performances. Gabriella will introduce her new concept to dancers who would like to synchronize their dances without using any choreography.
This is suitable for solo performances, group dancers and teachers of ATS, Tribal Fusion and Middle Eastern Dance.

Dance Sticks are traditionally used in north- and south Indian folkdances. But Absara Habiba would not be Absara Habiba if she wouldn’t also show you some unique and different ways to use them in the dance.

Poi & Fackel-Swinging
Die Feuer WS sind grundsätzlich für ALLE offen und beinhalten zuerst einmal eine grundsätzliche Einführung in das Thema Feuer.
This workshop is open for all levels and includes a lot of basic information about working with open fire.
Tara will show you the basic technique of torch swinging, movements and combos some of which can also be used with pois.

Apsara Habiba is known and popular for using unusual accessories in her Tribal Dancing -
she and her ensemble already danced with swords, daggers, shields and spears. Apsara will teach new moves and combos based on ATS with a slight touch of Tribal Fusion, mixed with dagger and sword action and lots of Amazon power… Not suitable for Tribal beginners!

Tribal Style Dance is a very unique fusion of movements and elements of various cultures – adding new elements or emphasizing on special stylistics can give the dance a whole new direction without loosing the “classical” Tribal Style characteristics. The emphasis in this workshop is on “Balkan” – which means sweeping music, playful and cheeky movements and lots of eastern-European soulfulness.
