TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Must be at least 18 years old to enter. You need to submit your audition video within 10 days after registering. If you will have any difficulty making that deadline, please contact us right away.
Chosen dancers are responsible for all their own travel and accommodation expenses. If the festival is for two locations, you will need to be able to travel to both locations.
Chosen dancers will receive free tuition to all festival workshops not conflicting with scheduled rehearsals.
Chosen dancers must be available for scheduled rehearsals the week prior to the 1st performance. Rehearsal week will consist of intensive training of at least 7 hours per day. Dancers must also be available for all rehearsals during the festival week.
Bellydance Evolution will provide all the troupe costumes for cast. You may be asked to provide a solo costume for the show.
Chosen dancers will be responsible for all alterations (i.e. adding hooks and snaps) to their troupe costumes.
There will be no monetary compensation for rehearsals but you will receive $75 for the performance, plus free attendance to the workshops that do not conflict with rehearsals.
The casting is for the local festival only, not for the touring company.
If a rehearsal video is provided to you before rehearsals start, participants must learn all choreography material provided to them via video PRIOR to rehearsal week.
Chosen dancers are willing to perform as a supporting member of the troupe, even if they are not cast as a soloist.
Due to the high physical & mental demand for this production and rehearsal schedule, dancers may be cut from all or part of the show if they are not capable of executing the choreography to the standards of Bellydance Evolution.
The People’s Choice Award winner will be given a special solo performance spot in the pre-show and will need to provide their own costume & music. Being the People’s Choice Award winner does not guarantee a spot in the cast, however if the People’s Choice winner is also cast for the production, they will be able to do both.

Submission fee is $40 and nonrefundable.
